Anubis

Not to be confused with the creator LmAnubis.

Anubis is a 2.0 Hard 5* level collaboration created by Adiale and GeoSlam1 and published by Adiale. It is the first level in the Chaos Gauntlet, before Scarlet Surge. It was built in a basic 2.0 style.

Gameplay[]

0-24% (GeoSlam1): The level starts with a simple cube section where the player must jump across some blocks and moving pillars while avoiding the thorns and spikes. Next, the player goes through an auto cube section as the background fades to black. Afterwards, the music beat drops and the player transitions into a double-speed ship sequence that contains several small saw-blades and moving structures. Following this, there is a double-speed UFO segment with a couple of size changes and wide-open spaces, as well as a few more saw-blades that can be easily avoided.
25-45% (Adiale): Following this, there is a double-speed ball segment with simple orb timings, then an easy robot segment that requires some simple jumps. Right after this, the player enters an auto normal-speed cube section, then quickly transitions into a double-speed dual cube section with more simple timings. Next is a double-speed UFO segment containing a couple of gravity changes and saw-blade obstacles.
46-70% (GeoSlam1): Next, the player enters a normal-speed cube section consisting of a few gravity changes and orb-based timings, then a short robot segment only containing two blue orb timings. Afterwards is a short auto cube section that quickly transitions into a double-speed ship sequence with moving pillars and wide open spaces. Following this, the player goes through an easy double-speed ball segment that consists primarily of simple orb-based timings. Finally, at 66%, this section concludes with a double-speed wave segment that features an abundance of saw-blades, triangle-like obstacles, as well as ceiling and floor that constantly move up and down that the player must avoid crashing into.
71-100% (Adiale): Afterward, the player goes through a double-speed robot segment comprised of a few easy jumps and one simple gravity change. Toward the end of the section, the player enters a normal-speed portal and a very short cube transition. Right after this, there is a double-speed ship sequence that consists of several unique-looking saw blades and wide open spaces, then a double-speed ball segment with a small number of simple gravity changes. Next is a straightforward double-speed cube section containing a few more orb timings and a couple of gravity portals towards the end. Finally, it transitions into a short UFO segment with wide open spaces, then one final half-speed ship sequence comprised of saw-blades of varying sizes and large text saying "GG". If the player manages to clear this section, the level ends.

User coins[]

The first coin is located at 49% in the third cube section. To collect it, at 48%, the player must not hit the second green orb and instead fall up to a hidden section at the top of the level, where they must quickly hit a blue orb and three pink ones. Immediately after grabbing the coin and falling back down to the normal route, they need to hit a yellow orb.
The second coin is located at 79% in the second-to-last ship sequence. To collect it, immediately after entering the ship portal, the player needs to drop down and fly underneath two saw-blades.
The third and final coin is located at 98% in the final ship sequence at the end of the level. It is free to collect but only appears if the key to it is collected.
- The key to the third coin is located at 6% in the first cube section. The player needs to jump off a ramp and through a cloud decoration containing the key.
- However, there is a bug where jumping too early, even after collecting the key, the coin does not appear.

The Chaos Gauntlet is not in the Gauntlets' menu by default. To access it, the player must meet The Creature, which can be found in The Basement, and click the blue lock.

During 2.2's initial release, the Chaos Gauntlet was inaccessible due to The Challenge being permanently locked due to a bug. This has since been resolved, and is now accessible once more.

Due to The Challenge being permanently removed from Update 2.2 the Demon Gauntlet cannot be unlocked.
