Bassboost is a 2.0 Medium Demon created by Namtar. It is difficult because of its narrow passages and tricky timings.
Gameplay[]
The level starts with a normal speed cube section with many changing orbs to trick the player. After the player slows down to half-speed, they transition into a long auto part during the buildup to the drop. At the drop, the words "Let the bass kick" flash chronologically. The player briefly becomes a ball before transitioning into a triple-speed ship part with many gravity portals that have a short cube section in the middle.
A tricky wave section follows, with a fast-paced cube part with many orb fakes coming after that. A short mini-ball part and cube section comes next, followed by a short double speed auto. The player briefly slows down to double speed and has to jump over a double-spike jump. Right above the spikes is "50%", signifying that the player is halfway through the level.
A triple-speed UFO with many gravity portals comes next, with an easier ball segment following. A fast-paced cube section and a dark ship sequence come after. As the music slows down, so does the level. The player transitions into a slow and easy half-speed cube part, and the level ends with the player speeding back up as the name of the level appears.
User coins[]
- The first user coin is at 9%, during the first cube part. To obtain it, the player must not hit a green orb right after going through a gravity orb. The player will float upwards to a platform that contains the coin.
- The second user coin is at 30%, during a wave part. It's right below some spikes, and the player, currently an upside-down wave, must let go, hit the coin, and quickly come back down to the normal path.
- The third and final user coin is at 90%, during the last cube section. The player must hit a yellow orb and go into a cloud where the coin is.
