BoldStep is a skilled New Zealand player in Geometry Dash who is mainly known for verifying several Extreme Demons such as Erebus, Step To Hell, Glowy, and Killbot. He also created a part in Deimos.

He has beaten extremely difficult levels in the game such as Artificial Ascent, Niflheim, Down Bass, Blade of Justice, Athanatos, Yatagarasu, Digital Descent, Carnage Mode, Idols, AcropoliX, Auditory Breaker, Betrayal of Fate, xo, Hatred, Astral Divinity, Titan Complex, and Sonic Wave.

His current hardest demon is Keres, which beat on December 30, 2024.

BoldStep created his YouTube channel on November 1, 2015, but did not upload any videos until September 10, 2016 where he beat Future demoness by MaJackO.

On March 19, 2017, BoldStep verified Erebus, which was placed at Top 1, dethroning Yatagarasu.

On June 3, 2017, BoldStep verified Step To Hell.

On September 6, 2017, BoldStep verified Glowy, a level with large quantity of decoration for its time.

On November 3, 2017, BoldStep verified Killbot, a memory Extreme Demon.

On November 19, 2017, BoldStep beat Yatagarasu.

On November 9, 2020, BoldStep beat Sonic Wave.

On July 2, 2022, BoldStep beat Wasureta. In a comment, he stated that he has been declining in activity due to studies, but will still play the game if he had the spare time.

On April 6, 2024, BoldStep beat Congregation as his hardest completion.

On December 30, 2024, BoldStep beat Keres, a buffed and extended remake of his top 1 verification Erebus.

• Erebus (featured) - An Extreme Demon collaboration created by Rustam and Ilrell during Update 2.0. It was verified by BoldStep himself during Update 2.1 after over 40,000 attempts. A former Top 1 and part of the RGB trilogy along with Yatagarasu and Sonic Wave.
• Killbot (starred) - A memory Extreme Demon created by Lithifusion. The level is inspired by Chaotic Machine.

Trivia

• He has verified a total of six levels, with five of them existing on the Geometry Dash Demonlist at one point or another. The levels are Tremor, Twisted Tranquility, Glowy, KILLBOT, Step To Hell, and his hardest verification, Erebus.
• In 2017, BoldStep moved to Australia, which he resided in for around 3 years.
• He was regarded as one of the most underrated players in Geometry Dash before he verified Erebus.
• He was the set verifier for WOODKID.
