Coaster Mountain is a 2.2 Platformer MediumDemon level created by Serponge. It became the first level to receive a legendary rating, the third most downloaded platformer level, and the second most liked demon platformer level in the game. As of 3 March 2025, it is the sixth most liked platformer level.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay follows along a platforming section and a sliding slopes section, most notably, the sliding section that reaches the next section makes the level difficult.

Section 1[]

The level starts with the player needing to click/tap 5 times in order to break free from the ice. Then the player needs to climb the platforms and touch the orbs in order to reach the first section.

The first slide section consists of an ice spike that leads to a slope that goes down with two saw blades in the way that leads the player to another slope that goes the other way around, then it leads to another that leads the player to two platforms, one of them leads to another slope that has a steeper platform. Then There the slope that goes the other direction and leads to a saw in between the slopes that leads the player to a yellow orb, then another platform and a yellow orb right beside it. Afterwards it leads to the platforms that leads to an black orb that prevents the player from crashing to the saws, but before that, the saws are in the way in between platforms. Then it leads to an yellow orb and a dash orb that leads to another slope that has a drop to another platform that redirects the player to the other direction before another one that leads to a yellow orb in the process. Afterwards it leads to the platformer that leads the player to the second section of the level, the player must jump to reach it.

Section 2[]

The Second section has icey platforms before the second slide, making it harder to navigate. The first ice platform right after the checkpoint has a spike in the middle of the platform and right beside it is an yellow orb. There's a platform that can help the player to lose momentum after they touch the icey platform, the player will build up momentum from the ice platform to reach the wooden platform that is the opposite side of that rock platform. Once reached the wooden platform, it leads to a yellow orb which will lead the player to another wooden platform and after that is a yellow orb that leads to a dash orb. The dash orb leads the player to two ice platforms that lead to a couple of wooden platforms that have the checkpoint. Then, three icey platforms leads the Player to the dash orb that lead to the second slide.

The Second slide has two slopes with red jump pads right beside the saws that lead to a dash orb. When the player jumps on the red pads, the platform with the red pads falls to the ground and when the player tries to back track, they will fall to their death. The red pads lead the player to a dash orb to safely pass through the saws and get on the slope. The two prices of platforms direct the player to a pink orb and a red orb that jumps over the saw and lands on the red jump pads. Then three slopes are next and one of them is steep then the others. More platforms will lead the player to red jump pads that direct the player to a platform and a dash orb. Then after that, the platform leads the player to two yellow orbs that lead to a saw and a red jump pad. Then another dash orb that leads to three platforms with red jump pads. Afterwards a wind geyser will launch the player high up. Then were two geysers and then a couple of saws that lead to another geyser. Then a platform with red jump pads leads directly to another geyser that leads to a platform. Afterwards that, another platform with red jump pads will direct the player to a dash orb that lead to slide to the third and final section of the level

Section 3[]

The final intermission has a strong wind from the left, causing unexpected acceleration to move when the player is going to the right. The player comes across a moving platform that goes to another platform, the player needs to be careful from falling off due to the wind. Then, another platform with the same deal. Afterwards, the platform leads the player to a saw, there's a gap that goes underneath the saw-blade. Then the player needs to jump onto the platform to progress, still if the player fails to do so, a small platform that connects with the platform will save the player from falling. The platform leads to a yellow orb to let the player squeeze through the saws and leads to a platform that leads to yet another moving platform. Then the saw blades prevent the player from jumping over to the next platform, the only way to get through is by using a moving platform with a red jump pad. Then the player needs to jump off the platform to the next, afterwards the violent wind stops and leads to the final slide.

The final slide has no room for errors during the descent and to makes things matters worse is that some platforms will collapse when touched by the player. It starts out with a spike at the start of the slide and then the real show begins. The slope leads the player to a dash orb, the player must act fast before falling. The dash orb leads to a platform with red jump pads. After that, the player must navigate around the saws while falling to prevent them from crashing. The slope will lead the player to another dash orb that leads to another platform with red jump pads, but this time it goes the opposite direction, then goes to the right direction. Then, the player reaches the slope that leads to yet another platform with red jump pads. After that the player needs to navigate carefully in a zig zag movement to prevent them from crashing into the saws in the process. Then it leads to another platform with red jump pads with a similar manner as before but this time it leads to a geyser. The player needs to navigate carefully while in the geysers and between them is yet another platform with red jump pads. Afterwards, a slope leads the player towards another red jump pads platform that leads to falling that the player must navigate carefully to reach the platform at the bottom. A dash orb that leads the player to a platform with red jump pads, the player must do twice, before reaching two platforms that leads to a zip line that leads to the end of the level.

After the while, the player reaches the ground that leads to a house. If the player goes the opposite way, the wind will push back the player from dying at the end. When the player reaches the house and after a brief period. The level ends.

User coins[]

there are three user coins in this level and all of them are in the platforming segments

  • The first coin is at the beginning of the level. While the player is climbing to first sliding section, there is a gap between the second penguin and the yellow orb. When the player falls in the gap, it reveals the coin. To leave the cave, the player needs to go right and will fall to the segment where the level starts.
  • The second coin is in the icey platforms segment. Right beside the checkpoint there is a red orb that leads to a dash orb towards the 1x1 platforms. The player must be careful from the ice platform so that the player don't fall into the saws. At the end of the path there is two dash orbs that direct the player to the second series of icey platforms. There is a black orb in the middle of the segment, afterwards the path will lead the player to the second before dropping the player to the checkpoint.
    • The final coin is at the windy segment. During the segment, there is a coupe of platforms that leads to a tower that contains the final coin. The player must be careful climbing up to prevent the wind from blowing them away. Afterwards the grabs the third and final coin of the level, afterwards the winds stops. A zip line at the top will leads the player to the final sliding section

    • When it got rated, it cause a bit of drama, some people say it deserves to be rated that way while others say it should be rated epic.
  • One of the five flags during the descent in the first slide section is the famous drop of Congregation at 42%.
  • The song "Snowy Night" is composed by both Serponge and Lchavasse (TheDevon) specifically for this level.
  • The eighth Event Level, Noel Electra, takes inspiration from this level.
