Empyrean is a 2.1 Harder 7* collaboration level created by ChaSe97, Darwin, Nicki1202, MrKoolTrix, Enlex, and ViPriN, who also published it. It is the fifth and final level in the Magic Gauntlet, after Odyssey. It is the famous winner for Gauntlet Contest 3, which decided the five levels to appear in the Magic Gauntlet.
Gameplay[]
- ChaSe97: The level starts with a half-speed cube part. A normal-speed spider segment follows before the player becomes a ship in a tight ship section with some gravity portals. After a short cube part is a UFO section with some more gravity portals. A common stopping spot is the yellow portal at 13%: the player should make sure not to click as soon as they enter the portal, but later so they do not run into a saw. The part ends with another cube part.
- Darwin: The speed picks up in Darwin's part with a double-speed robot part. After the robot part is a ship section containing some gravity portals. Another robot part follows, and the part ends at half-speed. Throughout the part, the player chases a flying book.
- Nicki1202: Nicki1202's part starts with a brief triple-speed ship part before quickly turning into a short cube section. Another ship segment immediately follows before once again turning back into a cube. After that is a double-speed spider section, and the part ends with an auto cube and the level's name along with all the names of the collaboration's participants appearing.
- MrKoolTrix: At the drop, MrKoolTrix's part begins with a quadruple-speed ship part. A ball part follows, and after briefly slowing down to triple-speed, the speed immediately picks back up soon after. The speed then changes a couple of times at a confusing dual-UFO part. After briefly becoming single, the player transforms into a cube, and the part ends with a fast cube part.
- Enlex: Enlex's part begins with a triple-speed cube part with many sizes and gravity portals. After briefly becoming quadruple-speed, the speed slows down to triple-speed at a short auto cube before quickly speeding back up at a UFO part. A ball part follows with many speed changes, and after a short auto cube section, the player transitions into a very short triple-speed spider segment that quickly turns back into a cube part. After a quadruple-speed cube section, the level ends with another auto cube section.
