Mind Control is a 2.1 Hard 5* collaboration level created by Darwin and G4lvatron and published by Darwin. It is the first level in the Time Gauntlet, before Silence. This level features detailed decoration and effects such as the fake ways, the "glitch" part, and the minigame at the end.

Gameplay[]

This level starts with a simple cube section. Here, the player slowly travels up to the normal route. The obstacles and the blocks in the background keep moving in any direction. Then, the gameplay suddenly speeds up, while the screen became dark in one instant. After this, the player becomes the UFO. In the background hangs a big circle with some bright particles. The UFO keeps appearing and disappearing as well as the size portals. However, most of the size portals are fake except the ones surrounded by a spinning grey circle. Afterward, some columns are moving up and down. Gravity portals are located in the center of each way.

The next part entirely uses the cube game-mode. Although this part is filled with disordered blocks and platforms, it contains almost no damage. All the blocks involved in this part are safe. Even if the player falls from the platform, another floor will appear and prevent the player from falling to the bottom and dying. However, if the player did not click, the cube would still fall to the bottom of the level, resulting in death.

The cube part continues, and the player has already landed on the ground. The background consists of a range of different blocks with spikes on them. The obstacles will appear from the ground suddenly, similar to the shape of the blocks in the background. The blocks move through the part and disappear quickly.

The gameplay in the following part repeats multiple times. However, the damage still exists, forcing the player to jump multiple times. Moreover, the tune of the music repeats with the gameplay. After the cube is a ball with repeated clicks; unlike the previous cube section, the player can pass the ball part by only clicking once in the seventh repeat since the six repeats before are auto. Then, the wave segment appears. This part is slow, and the background is filled with circles. At first, there is only one circle in the middle, but it splits with the music. Then, there is the cube dual. The platform gets tighter gradually, bringing the player to the final part.

The last part is completely different from all the previous ones. It is extremely bright, with no icons but a small square running around a huge circle in the middle. Three spikes constantly change their location, and the player has to jump over them at the right time. This progress takes up all the rest of the level. Finally, the level ends with Darwin's logo.

At the end of the level, the player will see the word "Darwin" in Japanese (ダーウィン).
The name of the level was suggested by Aziix.^[1]

The Chaos Gauntlet is not in the Gauntlets' menu by default. To access it, the player must meet The Creature, which can be found in The Basement, and click the blue lock.

During 2.2's initial release, the Chaos Gauntlet was inaccessible due to The Challenge being permanently locked due to a bug. This has since been resolved, and is now accessible once more.

Due to The Challenge being permanently removed from Update 2.2 the Demon Gauntlet cannot be unlocked.
