Crescendo is a 1.5/1.7 Easy Demon created by MasK463. This level is compared to be one of the easiest Easy Demons in the game, although some consider it to be the "hardest early easy demon". It is the third and final level in the Demon Pack 3, along with THE LIGHTNING ROAD and The Nightmare, and is generally considered the hardest of the three. It does not have many tricks, only some fakes that can cause trouble. Overall, this level is very easy but gets harder as it goes on. Although the song of the level is Theory of Everything, its design is considered to be a mix of xStep and Theory of Everything.
Gameplay[]
- 0-20%: The level begins with a simple cube section in which you need to jump onto platforms and jump over a few spikes and fake jump pads. Then comes a ball segment, in which you need to change gravity between half blocks, without falling onto fake jump orbs that you do not need to hit.
- 21-36%: Following is a ship section, where you need to fly inside a small tunnel, and you must not crash into spikes. Then, when you fly up, you go through a mirror portal and fly in the middle. The next part is another cube section, in which you need to know the combination of passing because there are fake jump orbs and jump pads that you should not hit.
- 37-66%: Then, there is a fairly confusing ball segment where you need to remember where to go because some spikes do not kill you. Also in some places, you need to change gravity sharply. Then comes a short cube section, and then a UFO segment, where you need to jump through the sawblades and jump in the right way. When presented with two pick-a-path sections, choose the middle path on both occasions - where an arrow (->) is pointing - to clear the area.
- 67-100%: Next comes a short and easy cube section in which you need to hit the correct jump orbs without crashing into traps. Then you fall up, clear a couple more obstacles, turn into a mini-ship, and after that into a cube, in which you must immediately hit two jump orbs and then two more jump orbs shortly afterward. Following this, you enter a UFO part with a wide open space, where the player must jump up sharply at the end to avoid craashing into the saws. Then you transition into a cube, in which you must hit a jump orb and jump over some spikes. To beat the level, you need to hit all jump orbs except the last one. Hitting it will cause you to die at 98%. Finally, the player lands on an invisible platform over spikes as the level ends.
Errors[]
- At 7%, you can hit the blue jump orb that you are not supposed to hit late, and if you hold, you can jump off a block with spikes and continue normally, only that the background stays red until the ball section.
- At 7%, you can skip the blue jump pad, and you may fall into the void.
