Michigun (December 9, 1996 – March 2021) was an Austrian mobile player in Geometry Dash. He was known for the use of triple-spikes in his levels and as his trademark, as well as for once being the fastest star-grinder in the game. He achieved 61,626 stars and created many levels that were based on temples from the Legend of Zelda video game series.

History

He achieved first-place on the game leaderboard for star-count in late 2015 after beating zNymo98 and 3XotiC, only to be surpassed by Shaggy23 in April of 2017. In June of the same year, Noctalium overtook his global position and was then ranked 4th on the leaderboard. Towards the end of year, Michigun was surpassed by multiple other players such as Cool, Franchet, and Kaernk.

On December 8, 2017, Michigun posted a status message that read "game over. I wish you all the best. ;)" which he later revealed was his quitting of the game.[1]

On March 27, 2021, Viprin was informed of the passing of Michigun by one of his relatives. The official reveal of his passing was not made public until March 30, 2021, on request of Michigun's family.
