Firewall is a 2.0 solo Insane Demon created, verified, and published by Hinds. It is well known for its flashing lights and vivid colored decorations. This level is notoriously difficult for its infamous wave parts and many crucial timings. Despite being a 2.0 level, it features typical 1.9 gameplay, without moving objects, boss fights nor robot segments. The song starts offset at the point where it ends in Fractured Circles.
Gameplay[]
The level starts with a simple but often considered annoying cube section with many triple spikes. The music then builds up and a faster and harder ball segment is introduced, which requires crucial timing. After that, appears a half-speed transition into a cube segment with timings, orbs and jumps, and then a single-speed cube section with some timing, jump orbs and spikes, but somewhat simple. Then it goes in mini double speed form, a sign that the drop is upcoming. After a brief part followed by an auto segment, the song beat drops and the level intensifies in difficulty.
This portion of the level presents a huge amount of sequences and is generally in double/triple speed, but the most notable parts are the waves (very tight spaces, triple speed, crucial timing, typical gameplay of Nine Circles levels), the ships (massive straight flying) and the balls (massive crucial timing), while the cube sections are a lot easier. When the music slows down, the level becomes easier, with a final cube section which resembles the final cube section of Breakthrough, in gradually decreasing difficulty, but the player has to be careful of quintuple spikes in triple speed near the end of the level.
