Flub is an American player and YouTuber in Geometry Dash, with about 200,000 subscribers. He is primarily known for his content in 2016-2019, where he ran a family friendly YouTube channel and Discord server. Flub ran numerous popular series, "Flub vs Fans" and "Level Requests."
“Flub vs Fans” consisted of Flub a couple of viewers attempting Geometry Dash challenges over a Discord call, ranging from star grinding to speed running to creating.
"Level Requests" consisted of Flub playing levels that viewers sent in. In later iterations, viewers could vote for their favorite level in each video, increasing viewer engagement.
Flub also did occasional streams on YouTube in which he played levels made by viewers, shouted out and raided small channels, and occasionally challenges them to a Geometry Dash-related game of Kahoot.
He is also known for his series of Nerfed/Lv1 levels, which include Yatagarasu Nerfed, Kenos Nerfed, and Bloodbath Lv1.
Flub disappeared from the community and the game in 2019 not long after he started university, and despite a handful of uploads during the lockdown of 2020, his presence in the community was minimal until late September of 2023, when he would return to the game, creating a new style of content with a more documentary/opinion style.
History[]
Flub's first video was uploaded on December 20th, 2015, and it was a faked progress run of Cataclysm. Most of his first uploads consisted of fake runs of hard demon levels, and they were faked using invisible pads and slopes.
Nerfed Levels[]
During this time, Flub would start nerfing Insane or Extreme Demon levels into much easier levels for himself and others to play. Many of these would be be published as "Lv1s" or "Nerfed" versions of the harder counterparts. Some of these levels include Yatagarasu Nerfed, Kenos Nerfed, and Bloodbath Lv1.
"Yatagarasu Nerfed" would end up becoming his most popular published level.
Free Stars[]
Flub began receiving views on YouTube through his "Free Stars" series, which began on March 27th, 2016. He would upload videos of online Geometry Dash levels that included secret ways to complete the level in a way that was much easier than intended. In the majority of these videos, a secret way would allow the player to rest at the bottom or top of the map and complete the level for free.
Level Requests[]
One of Flub's most popular series came in the form of "level requests." Viewers would request levels in the comments of his videos, and he would play them in a video.
His first level request video, "THE ILLUMINATI IN GEOMETRY DASH" was posted on June 4th, 2016, and besides just gameplay, consisted of funny moments.
There are 63 level request videos posted to Flub's channel, with the most popular being "98% Troll... SO EVIL!! (Level Request #5)" at 5.7 million views from 2016.

- Flub reached 100,000 subscribers on June 3, 2017 - about 1.5 years after he started his channel. He received his silver play button on December 21.
- Players once claimed that Flub had hacked, but following numerous debates, he finally made a video dissuading the rumors.
- During the Juniper harassment situation, there was a fan-fiction written in Juniper's Fandom page. A user named Water then uploaded the full fan-fiction. [1]
- Flub was mildly involved in the drama between Cyrillic and Sea. He told Cyrillic that he was basically "being beaten" by Sea.
