Not to be confused with Insomnia II, a sequel by Glittershroom.

Insomnia v2 is a 1.9 Hard Demon created by Nox. As its name suggests, it is the unofficial sequel to Insomnia by Glittershroom. Unlike its original version which uses only about 6,200 objects, the level uses over 10,000 objects which is somewhat a lot for a 1.9 level. The whole gameplay is similar to Insomnia, except with much harder timings, therefore making it a Hard Demon.

Gameplay[]

The level starts with a double speed cube section having the acronym "BL DIAF", which means "Bad Luck Die in a Fire". The ball segment uses fake objects, hard timings, a few useless jump orbs that will cause the player to crash, making it harder than Insomnia's ball part. Then appears a mini-wave section with tight spaces. Similar to Insomnia, this part can be cleared easily. Then appears a somewhat hard cube section which requires some memorization and timing. Then, a dual part which is completed automatically.

The drop starts and the speed becomes double, and the player continues as an easy UFO. Then appears a wave with tighter spaces. The wave becomes an anti-gravity ship. The player has to hit the yellow jump orb to proceed. Then appears a triple speed ball with some timing, which is quite easy as the level uses invisible objects added in the update.

The wave segment has more spikes, and a ship sequence with some gravity portals follows. Then a dual UFO segment appears and the speed changes to half. This path is harder than the previous one due to harder timings. The speed changes to triple speed with a cube section, and a UFO sequence. Subsequently, the player goes into a second maze ball segment, keeping the speed. However, there are lots of jump orbs, so not much memorization is required. The levels ends with a ship sequence, similar to Supersonic, with the creator's name.

Trivia[]

  • The level cannot be copied.
  • The level contains 10,047 objects.
  • Unlike its original version, it is not featured.
  • The player can skip the blue jump orb in the ball part just before the wave. However, this will not affect the gameplay.
  • If one looks closely, they can notice the slope used at 42% being copy and pasted.
