JonathanGD is an Indonesian Geometry Dash player and level creator. He is known for his levels Dark Travel, Future Funk and the BuTiTi trilogy. He became famous during Update 2.1 with the rise of his effect XL Demons and is now very popular amongst the community. Like Darwin, he is also known for making levels that lag heavily on mobile devices and low-end PCs, even sometimes crashing them if Low Detail Mode is not used. In addition, he is known for having insanely difficult timings at the end of his levels, although this is no longer a feature he adds.

Trivia[]
- Despite the rate on Beyond The Nature, his first rated level was BuTiTi. Beyond The Nature was unexpectedly rated in May 2021.
- JonathanGD stated he is not a fan of his older levels. It happened when a fan of his on a live stream excitedly said that JonathanGD got a new rate, with Jonathan believing it to be Erou. Instead, it was his six-year-old level RAMBreaker, and he was unhappy about it, saying that his newer-rated older levels are trash (Beyond The Nature and RAMBreaker) and that they are 'even worse than BuTiTi'.
- He is well known for making traps or joke messages when a player crashes at the very end of a specific level, the most notable being the infamous difficult timings at 99% on Future Funk.
- He was featured as an interviewee in RobTop's video commemorating Geometry Dash's 10th anniversary.
- He is known for using the Pokémon Snorlax as his profile picture.
- He is a big fan of the Kirby franchise.
- He also plays TETR.IO and will sometimes stream himself playing it. He is currently U rank.[18]
- His hardest Demon is Digital Descent.[13]
- He lost list points four times when Athanatos, Black Blizzard, Boogie, and Digital Descent fell into the Legacy List.
- Brandon Larkin jokingly calls him 'Bad Bad Jonathan' due to how frustrating Brandon finds JonathanGD's levels to be.
- He lives in Bekasi, West Java, according to his Q&A YouTube video, which has since been removed from his channel.
- He has the longest streak for any Geometry Dash Award, having won the Best XL Demon award four years in a row.
- He stated in the Real Travel FAQ that Real Travel will be around the difficulty of Bloodlust as a whole, or like beating "8 Long length Insane Demons in a row". In addition, he estimates that Real Travel will be harder than his current hardest, Digital Descent.
- After Dark Odyssey, JonathanGD no longer plans to make any sequels of his levels, as he has stated many times during his streams.
- However, on April 1, 2024, he released Future Funk III, although made as an April Fools' joke.
