Juniper is a skilled American player and YouTube content creator in Geometry Dash with over 432,000 subscribers and 118,000 Twitch followers. She is mainly known for her unique content and community and for completing several difficult Demons. Her hardest Demon is currently Dolos, which she beat on 9 May 2021.[1]

History

Juniper originally started her channel on 16 July 2015 but did not upload a video until 17 February 2017, when she uploaded 'THINGS NOT TO DO WITH YOUR CUSTOM LEVEL,' [2] which is now her second most popular video on her channel. Three days later, she would make a channel trailer with the level Amarillo by Jayuff in the background.[3] Around this time, she would make more content about doing standard stuff, such as 'How To Make A Popular Comment,' [4] 'Create Your Own Map Pack Level,' [5] 'Playing Recent Levels,' [6] (which is currently her most viewed video) and 'Types of Geometry Dash Players'.[7]

On 14 March 2017, she reached 50 subscribers and did her first QnA.[8] Nine days later, she reached 100 subscribers and did a Q&A.[9] Following this, she made more content, such as more 'In a Nutshell' videos, some comparison videos and even made her Discord server.[10] Around this time, she would make her first full animation video, titled 'A GEOMETRY DASH EASTER'[11] which eventually she would make a lot more. Her next video would be her voice reveal, which is a 30-second animation.[12]

On 11 May 2017, she held her first creator contest,[13] where she would judge the levels by sync. Then, on 18 June 2017, she revealed the winners.[14] 5th Place was Restless by VadeRGD, 4th Place was Sleepyhead by GD Cygnus, 3rd Place was Chill by pewZEN, 2nd Place was Juniper by Ashdasher and 1st Place was Dreaming by KegGD. While judging the Creator Contest, she reached 1,000 subscribers[15] and 2,000 subscribers nine days later.[16] About a month later, she reached 3,000 subscribers,[17] and two months later, she reached 5,000 subscribers. For 5,000 subscribers, she did a Q&A that ended with a surprise face reveal.[18]

The content she made in between here was primarily memes, pretend wars and 'Every _____ ever' videos. During this time, she made a fan-based tournament titled 'Juniper Tournaments,' [19] where two teams had to compete in Geometry Dash-based challenges such as creating or drawing in the editor while the audience votes who stays and who does not. She uploaded the first episode soon after.[20] After she uploaded the first episode, she hit 8,000 subscribers and used a face-cam on a video reacting to her old videos.[21] After this, her content would consist of more animations, such as one of her more popular ones, Hooneeper and Foob,[22] and do a CinemaSins parody on Horizon Zero.[23]

She would upload the second episode of Juniper Tournaments,[24] and it was themed around creating. After this, she created more Hooneeper and Foob episodes and eventually reached 20,000 subscribers and ate an eggplant with Flub.[25] She would reach 100 videos and then make a tutorial on how to make videos,[26] and created a new Discord server titled 'The Juniverse.'[27] Eventually, she reached 30,000 subscribers and ate a doughnut with Flub.[28] After a few video uploads, she reached 40,000 subscribers, then made a special video showing fanart and released her first type of merch, which were plushies. She also did some Discord awards and Playing Recent Levels. She proceeded to reach 50,000 subscribers.[29]

She also beat Cataclysm and Bloodbath, which was a huge accomplishment. After this, she slowed down on the content a bit, but she still beat Quest For Perfection and did three runs of the Extreme Demon Roulette. Because of the success of the last challenge, a user known as FigmentBoy coded a one-off version with various difficulties and seeds. Once Juniper found out, she started the Easy Demon Roulette and is still trying to beat it. She is currently at 70%, though only at 52 points, as she had accidentally skipped multiple percentages, most notably getting 43% on Violent Silence by Zoroa when she was supposed to get 33% due to everything from 33% to 42% in the level being an auto cutscene. She also began trying to beat Dolos as her Hardest Demon, which would be a jump from Bloodbath, as announced on 24 April 2021.[citation needed]

On 9 May 2021, she completed Dolos, marking her new hardest Demon.[30]
