More Beats is a 2.1 Insane 8* level created by Yakimaru. It is inspired by the game Just Shapes & Beats and mostly uses the color magenta. In the middle of the level is a boss fight with the main antagonist shooting balls at the player.
Gameplay[]
The level starts with a short auto-section and throws the player into a robot section, where they jump between little platforms with some orbs, gravity switches, and size portals. To avoid confusion, little arrows are showing the player where to jump. Next up is a ship sequence, where the player needs to fly through slope-platforms and changes gravity occasionally.
This part is followed by a unique ball segment where the player has to switch from one diagonal platform to another to dodge spikes (shown in the picture). Again, there are little arrows helping the player time correctly.
The next section is just a fast mini-sized ship with straight flying with the build up to the drop, while in the background the boss from Just Shapes & Beats is laughing at the player. As he vanishes, he attacks the player with balls that explode into little ones that are trying to hit them. Yet again, there are arrows guiding you through his attacks.
When you successfully dodge his attacks, you get thrown into a UFO segment with orb hits and gravity portals. After this, a half-speed mini-wave segment with minor timings is followed by a pretty much open and fast cube section, where the player does some orb hitting onto platforms.
The next section is invisible to the player, because the boss which has failed to hit the player in the middle of the level, pretty much dies because of a big spike slamming through his head. The last part is a normal speed blue themed spider-part, where the sun is smiling at you. After this, the level ends with the short name of the creator (Yaki) and the level name itself.
