I verified The Golden. Let's go.

―nSwish

nSwish was a skilled American player in Geometry Dash. During the 2019-2020 era, he was considered by many to be the best player in the game, as he became the first player to have ever completed the entire Top 75 hardest Demons on the Demonlist at some point following his completion of Fabrication on September 9, 2020. nSwish also verified Black Lung X, a Main List challenge on the Challenge List.

He was the third person to have completed the Top 10 Demons (at the time), after Sunix and Surv, consisting of Tartarus, The Golden (verified), Zodiac, Kenos, Crimson Planet, Renevant, Cognition (verified), Thinking Space, Bloodlust, and Calculator Core. He lost that achievement later with the addition of Cold Sweat (#7 at the time) on September 20, 2020.

His current Top 10 hardest Extreme Demon completions are Hard Machine, Tartarus, Sonic Wave Infinity, The Golden, Zodiac, Kenos, Renevant, Promethean, Thinking Space, and Crimson Planet.

At one point, he was trying to beat arcturus, on which he achieved a record of 78%. It would be his hardest completion if he were to beat it.

History[]

The rise[]

He achieved the feat of completing the Top 25 Demons on the Demonlist after his victory over The Yandere on September 15, 2019, which was #25 at the time. He later lost this accomplishment due to the addition of Macabre but was able to complete it within a few days.

On March 30, 2020, he beat Tartarus, formerly the #1 Demon on the Demonlist.[1] He then proceeded to verify The Golden on April 18, 2020, which overtook Tartarus as the #1 Demon in the game for a few months until Tartarus was placed back at the #1 spot.

By June 9, 2020, nSwish had completed all of the Top 35 Demons on the Demonlist with his completion of Spectrum Cyclone (#26 at the time). He became the first person to complete the Top 50 Demons after Wasureta (which he had previously beaten) was added to the Demonlist, and the sole remaining level that he had not completed, Factory Realm X, was pushed to #51. He later had to overcome his losses in the Top 50 with the addition of Molten Gear and Edge of the Blade (#45 and #37 at the time), but he made quick work of them and reclaimed his title of the Top 50.

After he completed the Main List, nSwish took a break from Geometry Dash, uploading very little content but no level completions or substantial level progress. However, he returned most notably with his completion of The Rupture (#6 at the time) and a recolored completion of D, a Challenge List level by Bo. He had also completed some Shitty levels on the Shitty list and uploaded random non-Geometry Dash content.

On September 16, 2021, nSwish uploaded a video titled 'my GD career has just begun' with his completion of Omega Interface, stating, 'No one is ever taking my number one spot. Ever.' However, just 34 days later, RG completed Calamity, which gave him enough points to pass nSwish and become #1.

Completion of Main List[]

On September 9, 2020, nSwish became the first player in the game, ever, anywhere, to complete the entire Main List (Top 75 Extreme Demons)[2] with the completion of Fabrication (#63 at the time).[3] This was a momentous occasion, so much so that the Demonlist Twitter account tweeted a congratulations message to nSwish.[4]

The sheer size of this accomplishment was unfathomable, as most players in Geometry Dash hardly even complete a single Extreme Demon, or at best, a handful of them. The best players at the time, such as Technical (#2) and RG (#3), had only beaten around 40 Main List Demons, while nSwish had beaten almost 20 more, including a multitude of Extended List and Legacy List Demons. He lost this title 12 days later with the addition of Cold Sweat (#7 at the time).

nSwish was not originally planning to beat the entire Main List due to his dislike of trying to complete Killbot, the hardest memory Demon in the game according to the Demonlist. However, on August 4, 2020, he streamed himself playing npesta's Extreme Demon Roulette for close to five hours. During this stream, he had to complete 32% of the memory Extreme Demon, super probably level, which motivated him to beat the level the following week. His completion may have made him reconsider his decision not to beat the other memory Demon, Killbot, as he completed the level on August 13, 2020, allowing him to continue his streak of the Main List. He stated in a comment on his Killbot video that he thought Killbot was significantly easier than super probably level, and he had learned the whole level within four hours.

On his Twitter account, nSwish stated that he had beaten Cold Sweat but accidentally recorded Minecraft instead of Geometry Dash.[5] It is unknown whether this is true since nSwish had started to become less active in the game. During his completion of the levels Aesthetic and Fabrication, nSwish started to upload weekly Minecraft videos on his channel. After he completed Fabrication, he did not upload any more Geometry Dash completions. However, just weeks later, he barely uploaded them altogether. He stated that his channel would only focus on uploading his old layouts and occasional random videos.[6] Despite this, he rarely uploaded Geometry Dash content during that time.

Return on mid-December 2021[]

On December 13, 2021, he seemingly returned to Geometry Dash and uploaded a stream of him playing Firework.[7] After that stream, he started to stream every day, playing levels such as Firework, Crimson Planet,[8] and Trueffet,[9] and beating levels like Mystic.

On December 23, 2021, he started to play the newly verified New Record, beating it as the first victor on Christmas Day of December 25, 2021.[10]

On January 2, 2022, he started to play the newly verified Sakupen Circles, achieving a record of 46%. During the year, he played the level on and off, seemingly wanting to beat it. He achieved 51%.[11] If he completed it, Sakupen Circles would have been his hardest achievement at the time, as more than two years earlier, he beat Tartarus on March 30, 2020, which remained his hardest Demon at this time.

However, in a turn of events, on June 2, 2022, he beat Hard Machine, making it his first completion of a Top-10 difficulty level in almost two years, as well as officially making it his new hardest Demon. Though, he believes the level is between Kenos and Zodiac in difficulty. Ironically, Hard Machine was moved above Tartarus the day after his completion.

He also beat Promethean in 14,851 attempts four days later. His completion gave him sufficient points to return in the Top 10 on the Individual Stats Viewer, surpassing SnowBallerr.

At the end of June 2022, he started playing an upcoming Top-5 difficulty open verification level named walter white, verified by Iiilaseriii on a Top-15 difficulty version shortly after.

Departure[]

On September 23, 2023, nSwish deleted all his social media accounts. The reason for this was somewhat unknown, although he had mentioned a desire to quit in a couple of his videos, and it is unknown if this measure is temporary or permanent. Afterward, his Geometry Dash account mysteriously made a post saying, 'cheated'. This post brought suspicions and speculations on whether nSwish might be a hacker. However, the post got deleted. Two new posts appeared, revealing that someone had hacked his account using a leaked password. Another individual likely had access to nSwish's account and deleted the post from the other hacker. The two posts cleared up the confusion, and that individual apologized for the behavior presented.

After that situation, nSwish posted a new message onto his Geometry Dash account, saying,

hi guys. i did not cheat in the game or cheat on my wife lol. im doing fine btw. deleting everything was a personal choice that i stand by

―nSwish

This message suggests that nSwish might have decided to leave the community and quit the game by deleting all his social media accounts. He also reminded the community that he was not cheating in the game.[12]

On March 9, 2024, nSwish's Geometry Dash account got hacked again, where the hacker made misinformation posts regarding nSwish's departure, used bots to spam levels and scams in the comment section of these levels and messages, and wiped the profile stats. Two days later, the account seemed to have returned to normal. However, nSwish's comments and unrated levels were deleted, with the Extreme Demon level Rage left standing. Furthermore, all the comments from Rage after its last update were deleted.

Trivia[]

  • nSwish once had the lowest attempt count for any of the victors of Zodiac, with around 25,000 (this includes pre-practicing - his attempt count without this would be around 18,000). This record now belongs to Luqualizer, with around 5,800 attempts.
  • He did a face reveal after reaching 1,000 subscribers on YouTube, although this video has since been deleted.
  • He beat Ithacropolis as his 100th Extreme Demon on November 12, 2019, making him the fifth person to have ever reached 100 Extreme Demons after iNeo, Kainite, Rainstorm and Technical.[13]
  • He was the first victor of the official version of Kenos, verified by npesta.
  • Outside of Geometry Dash, he enjoys speedcubing, solving a Rubik's cube as fast as possible.
  • Before his decision not to beat Killbot, he uploaded a joke video claiming that he beat the level but was him crashing at 69% on PP.
  • For unknown reasons, he had privatised his Rage verification video.
  • He once had the highest streak of consecutive list levels completed at once (75) but lost it after Cold Sweat was added at #7.
  • He was banned on the in-game Global Leaderboard due to having openly hacked various Map Pack levels.[14]
  • After over 18 months of being the #1 player on Pointercrate's Individual Stats Viewer, he got dethroned by RG, who became the new #1 player, on October 10, 2021.
  • He reached 50,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel on December 17, 2021.
  • His completion of Hard Machine on June 2, 2022, makes it his new hardest Demon after almost two years since he had beaten Tartarus. Ironically, when he beat Hard Machine, the level was not only placed below Tartarus, but nSwish even believed it to be overrated since it was placed at #6, while he thinks it should be between Zodiac (#10) and Kenos (#12).
    • Moreover, his 9,404 attempts for beating Hard Machine are one of the lowest attempts in the current time for beating a new hardest Demon on the Demonlist since, most times, the attempt count was higher than 15,000.
      • His completion was not accepted by the Demonlist's moderator due to the angle of the video not showing the icon half the time. Despite this, everyone considered his completion legit because of his hereditary.
  • His completion of Sonic Wave Infinity makes him the only victor of Sonic Wave Infinity who also beat Sonic Wave when it was at #1 on the Demonlist.
  • The default ball of his texture pack was officially added to Geometry Dash, requiring 135,000 attempts to unlock it.
