Obscurum is a 2.0 solo Hard Demon created and published by Bryan1150 and update-verified by Zeostar. It is the second level in his unofficially titled "Level Remix" series, preceded by Rebellion and followed by Windswept Prospect. The level is a remix of Zobros' most famous levels, including Nine Circles and Acropolis.

Gameplay[]

Obscurum is simply a combination of Zobros' famous levels (and some others). All of the levels included are Demons. The creator, Bryan1150, has also buffed some parts of the mix to sync with the music.

These are the levels that are featured in Obscurum:

  1. 8o
  2. ClubStep Nightmares
  3. Nine Circles
  4. Forsaken Neon
  5. Acropolis
  6. Swing Squad
  7. Ultimate Demon Mix
  8. Luminum

NOTE: Four of Zobros' rated levels are NOT included in the level itself. Those levels are:

  1. Well Then - A backward version of Stereo Madness, using a Move trigger.
  2. love baba - A surprisingly rated level that goes downhill after 50%.
  3. Atlas v2 - A v2 version of the famous FunnyGame level Atlas.
  4. gravity -- zero - A swing-copter level that is slightly unusual in terms of how the swing copter works.

After that, the level ends with the creator's name and with the words: "Zobros 8)".

User coins[]

The level contains three user coins:

  • The first user coin is located at 19%, at a part resembling 8o, the player must hit the blue orb near a small spike with crucial timing, getting the coin.
  • The second user coin is located at 41%, in a section imitating Nine Circles. The player must go onto a yellow jump pad, once done, they are led to the second user coin, then heading to the normal path.
  • The third user coin is located at 84%, in a section imitating Swing Squad. The player must hit the first green orb and avoid the second, leading them into a saw-blade that turns into a gravity portal for the third coin.

Fails[]

  • GuitarHeroStyles crashed at 88% and 92%.
  • SixBeat crashed at 97% and 99% three times.
  • Dorami crashed at 90%.
  • Zulrah crashed at 99%.
  • RubyFly crashed at 87%, 88%, and 99%.

Trivia[]

  • The password for the level is 691337.
  • The level contains 31,261 objects.
  • The level is 2m 46s in length.
  • The name Obscurum is a play on the name Luminum, a Zobros level on which Obscurum is extensively based.
    • The beginning of the level is similar to Luminum's, as big letters move upwards from the ground to form the title.
      • In Luminum, the letters are colored yellow, but in Obscurum, the letters are colored purple.
      • The "M" in Obscurum boosts the player upwards in the beginning, unlike Luminum.
  • Because one of the featured levels is Ultimate Demon Mix, some parts are from other levels not originally by Zobros, such as DeCode and Theory of SkriLLex.
  • The level formerly held the title of the longest Demon level. It was succeeded in this regard by Lonely Travel, a level twice as long.
  • There is an Easter egg at the beginning of the level where if you pick up the key to trigger a bug-fix, the word: "Obscurum" will be replaced with "Bugscurum".
  • At 50% in the level, the text, "Michigun approves 8)" can be seen, which refers to his affinity for triple spikes.
