Sakupen Circles (formerly known as Iron God) is a 2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration level hosted by Muffy450 and verified and published by Diamond on 29 December 2021. The level is a remake of the 1.9 impossible level of the same name and takes several gameplay ideas from Iron God, an older level created by Muffy450. It was verified by Diamond after a death at 76% and a run of 37-100%. Sakupen Circles placed at #1 on the Demonlist before being shifted to #2, below Slaughterhouse, becoming the current hardest rated Nine Circles level.
Gameplay[]
Note: Only decorators will be mentioned in the following section as Nick24 made the original gameplay of the level.
- 0-8% (DrCuber): The level begins with a semi-impossible three-block-tall jump at half speed. After this, the player must hit the blue orb and jump over spikes, falling into a mirror portal and changing to double-speed. They must continue to jump over multiple spikes. They are given multiple orbs to choose from but can only hit the first pink orb and the last blue orb. They then must jump over the spikes to pass a mirror portal, and then their speed changes to half-speed. They need to jump on the edge of a block with a spike and time a pink orb to reach the double-speed ship.
- 8-17% (korewa): The player hits the ceiling as the double-speed ship and must continue with a series of yellow orbs with gravity changes.
- 17-49% (Renn241): The player changes into a ball part containing difficult orb timings, leading into a tight corridor with spikes on the sides. They transform into a dual mini-ball with small spikes on the sides that they must avoid. They turn into a cube and must do a couple more cube timings. The word 'Ready?' appears right before the first wave part. The wave part has incredibly tight gaps with little room for error. They turn into a mini-wave and must spam on the sides of the walls to avoid the spikes.
- 50-66% (Mzero + endevvor): The player becomes a dual mini-wave and must perform frame-perfect clicks to get through. They turn back into a normal wave and have to perform even tighter timings, leading into a mini-wave section where they must spam fast but consistently through a downward spam. They become big again and must spam more, albeit not as fast as transitioning into an auto-ship section for the next part.
- 66-72% (NineDice): Considered one of the hardest and most inconsistent parts of the level, the player must memorise and spam through one-block-gaps as a triple-speed wave, making some clicks inconsistent and hard to time.
- 72-100% (GhostVandalf): The player changes into a dual wave where they have to make it through some more diagonal gaps with spikes on them, leading into a two-block spam section back into a ship section. They must precisely control the ship and learn the fakes to get past the section. Finally, the ship turns mini into a fairly easy straight-fly. After that, they return to normal size and must perform the final straight-fly to finish the level.
Notable Completions[]
- Cursed was the first victor of the level on 7 January 2022.[1]
- Before the completion, Cursed dropped the verification due to demotivation but stated that he would not drop the level completely and might return to it as a victor rather than a verifier.
- Zoink has the lowest attempt count on Sakupen Circles with 26,901 attempts.[2]

Trivia[]
- The level is free to copy.
- The level contains 72,568 objects.
- The level is 51s in length.
- This currently makes it the shortest Top 10 Demon on the Demonlist in terms of level length.
- However, it was the closest to being the shortest former Top 1 level behind Sakupen Hell by one second.
- This currently makes it the shortest Top 10 Demon on the Demonlist in terms of level length.
- The level was rated on 5 January 2022 and was initially placed at #1 on the Demonlist on the same day, above Slaughterhouse (#2).
- This addition pushed Kenos out of the Top 10, Icotact into the Extended List, and Ziroikapi into the Legacy List.
- Kenos was ironically the extended remake of Sakupen Hell as it also shares its same song to Sakupen Circles; the former also doesn't include the second major drop of the song as Sakupen Circles only focuses on that.
- On 17 March 2022, Sakupen Circles' and Slaughterhouse's placements had been swapped; thus, Sakupen Circles dropped to #2 on the Demonlist.
- Sakupen Circles was at #1 for 70 days.
- This addition pushed Kenos out of the Top 10, Icotact into the Extended List, and Ziroikapi into the Legacy List.
- Sakupen Circles was part of the player-made 'A.S.S. trilogy', along with Abyss of Darkness and Slaughterhouse - referencing the #1 level on the Demonlist starts with the letter A and the #2 and #3 levels with the letter S.
- In fact, all of these levels combined were heavilly disliked due to its gameplay, especially Sakupen Circles as its own level from the Trilogy.
- This level can be viewed as the first 'bridge' between the Challenge List and the Demonlist, as many sections are stand-alone challenges.
- Due to said challenge (SC66P) being high on the Geometry Dash Challenge List, this is the nearest humanly impossible level verified at this moment (neither Slaughterhouse nor Firework have a single part that can reach at least the Main List in the Challenge List); however, SC66P was removed from the Challenge List after Sakupen Circles' placement.
- There is a sequel called Aquamarine, which DrCuber is currently remaking and set to be the hardest Demon in the game. The old version of the level has been verified by seels55[3] and is considered to be around Top 2-5 difficulty.
- However, Wavix describes this as the worst Top 1 in the game, especially due to its gameplay similar to the original version.[4]
- This level is generally criticised for its gameplay, especially the drop; some believe it should not be rated.
- Sakupen Circles is the 36th former Top 1 in the game's history.
- This is the second Top 1 Nine Circles level of the Demonlist after Sonic Wave and the second Top 1 Medium length level after Sakupen Hell.
- Coincidentally, this level uses the same song and has almost the same length as Sakupen Hell, and the two levels also garner most of their difficulty through their wave gameplay. The levels share many parallels in general.
- This is the second Top 1 Nine Circles level of the Demonlist after Sonic Wave and the second Top 1 Medium length level after Sakupen Hell.
- The placement of Spectre on 11 November 2024 pushed Sakupen Circles out of the Top 10 of the Demonlist.

“ | Another nine circles level. Hardest nine circles level ever created? | ” |
―Nick24 |
Sakupen Circles is a 1.9 impossible level created and published by Nick24 and hack-verified by Exen. It uses the second drop of the song Iron God: Sakupen Hell Yes Remix and is extremely difficult. It is agreed upon that this and Silent Circles are the two most famous impossible Nine Circles levels.
Gameplay[]
The level starts with a difficult cube section with difficult timings. It then changes into a difficult ship sequence with mild manoeuvres. A ball section follows with extreme difficulty. Then, hard jumps come following the drop. The drop has an almost impossible wave segment. There are one-block spaces and difficult wave spam. Colours flash everywhere as the player spams into the 66% wave, the most intense part of the level, yet this is only a brief moment. The rest of the wave has Hard Demon spaces that the next ship carries to Easy Demon difficulty. After a three-second break, the player enters the end section from Cataclysm, and a 'GG' flashes. Finally, the level ends.
Trivia[]
- The level cannot be copied.
- The level contains 9,689 objects.
- The level is 49s in length.
- It took Exen 22 months (almost two years) to hack-verify (although he staged the timeline to make it seem more legitimate, even though he hacked the level).
- The first jumps were initially considered impossible.
- The current world record for this level is 76%, reached by EmpanadasR.[1] It is considered by many the worst fail in Geometry Dash history due to 76% being significantly easier than the rest of the level and the level considered above Tidal Wave in difficulty.
- Removing the second half of the mini-wave spam, a Silent Circles-tier obstacle, Criedex has the largest, most consistent runs as of 28 December 2019. He has effectively completed each part of the level.
- Builders Club has created a balanced/buffed remake of the level.[2]
- It is used by some top players as a simple wave-timing challenge.
- There is a sequel to this level named Recirculation. It was created by Nick24 after leaving Geometry Dash for roughly six years.[3]
- Every part in this level has been passed legitimately separately, showing that the level is possible in its unnerfed state.
- Nick24 also published an auto version of the level, which is rated Hard. The players described the auto version of the level as being 'buggy' due to several bugs and glitches. The most notable bug is at 56%.
- The player Diamond, the verifier of the rated version of the level, 'verified' this using an exploit called 'pause buffering'.[4] This method works by pausing and clicking right afterwards, then pausing again, and so on, making spam sections way easier than intended. He uploaded the video to attempt to get RobTop to remove it.

Sakupen Circles 2022 (SC2022) is a 2.1 impossible level created and published by Nick24. It is a new version of his infamous impossible level to commemorate its seventh anniversary. Compared to the original, SC2022 features a purplish colour scheme almost close to that of Silent Circles and Fairydust.
Gameplay[]
The level starts with a difficult cube section featuring difficult timings. It then changes into a difficult ship sequence with mild manoeuvres mostly notably a 'Clubstep' monster similar to that in Silent clubstep before numerous gravity portals. Next is a ball section initially oriented in blue orb spam, followed by a tight mini-wave, which goes dual halfway. Afterwards, there is a mini-ship dual and a difficult mini-robot consisting of jumping on the edge of numerous suspended structures (a gameplay style inspired by Shardscapes), followed by a brief cube section with triple-spike jumps. The name of the level can also briefly be seen. The level goes into the infamous narrow triple-speed wave segment. There are one-block spaces and very hard spike spam, followed by a dual-mini-wave segment.
The level then transitions into another very tight wave segment before the player enters its infamous mini-wave spam. The '66P' part is now a mini-wave consisting of tight-gap spaces and difficult memorisation before transitioning from a normal dual wave into a very tight single-wave segment. The second last part is a triple-speed ship segment followed by a spam-oriented mini-wave, which will turn into a straight-fly-oriented mini-ship.
Like the original, the level ends with a 'GG'.
