The Lost Existence (abbreviated as TLE) is a 2.1 solo Extreme Demon created and published by JonathanGD and verified by Luqualizer. It is an XL level that was made for the #levelution movement and uses just under 32,000 objects. It is currently on the Legacy List of the Geometry Dash Demonlist and the GD Mobile Lists.
Gameplay[]
The Lost Existence is similar to the other XXL Travel levels, like Lonely Travel.
The level starts with a half-speed cube section with a double spike at the end before entering a half-speed ship sequence with some tight spaces. The ship will turn mini, and blocks will start moving a little to make the spaces tighter. The player turns into a cube again, while the level contains 1.0 block design mixed with some glow. Another mini ship sequence begins with some tight curvy straight fly.
After this is a memory ball section that halfway through switches the player to a mini ball. After a quick ship sequence, a UFO segment begins filled with blue, pink, and purple gears. The design continues into a robot and then another straight fly section with the mini ship. Another tight, half-speed ship sequence with a change in design ensues.
A rainbow-themed wave follows this ship sequence. The rainbow design continues into a timing-based cube and robot section before a quick symmetrical dual. After this is a ship and hard UFO during a lava-themed boss fight inspired by the official level Deadlocked by RobTop. After this is a golden section that changes game mode often and includes a difficult swing copter. A section themed around clouds comes after this that switches from an easy ship to a timing cube, to a somewhat difficult ball, to an easy cube, and then to ship again. After this is a spider- and cube part. This is followed by some more straight fly.
A ball, ship, UFO, and robot section inspired by Lonely Travel by FunnyGame comes after this. After that is a tight wave section. The last part of the level is reminiscent of the first, as it is a golden cube section that is timing-based.
User Coins[]
This level contains three user coins, all of them require certain collectibles in order to be obtained:
- The first user coin can be found at 29%. The player must find the 5 hidden hearts to obtain it. Once all 5 are collected, the player must simply fly up after reaching the 2nd spiky platform, entering a narrow entrance to collect the coin.
- The first heart can be found at 1%, after jumping through the pillar, simply jump over the cloud right above it to collect the heart.
- The second heart is located at 4% during the first ship part, at the mini ship segment. Be wary that it is located a tight space so, straight flying is crucial in collecting it.
- The third heart is located at 5%, simply just click as soon as you have hit the yellow jump pad so that you will hit an invisible orb to collect it.
- The fourth heart is located at 14%. Hit the green dash orb at 13% a bit lately, to avoid hitting the upper spikes. Keep holding until you've collected the heart.
- The fifth and last heart is located at 24%. As soon as you've entered the robot portal, make a moderate jump to collect it.
- The second user coin is located at 67%. It requires two vials and one red skull in order to collect. Both vials can be found at the Deadlocked-inspired ship section. To collect it, one must simply jump and skip the green orb portal, entering a hidden room underneath the platform where the user coin is located.
- The red skull can be found at 44%, during the dual mini ship. Simply fly up to collect it then fly over the gear sawblade to avoid it.
- Both vials require a careful maneuvering of the ship to collect them. The first vial is located at 47%, as soon as you're about to collect it, quickly hold to avoid hitting the hazard. The second vial is located at 48%, the player must fly up to collect it while avoiding the hazardous spikes.
- The third user coin is located at 93% at the last wave part. Before the player can collect the coin, a hidden purple skull located at 82% above the normal route must be collected. For the coin, the player must send their wave below the normal route where the coin can be collected, although it is inside a tight slope, thus crucial timing is required in collecting it.
- The skull requires a quite complicated step to collect: The player must drop 2 blocks at 72% to unlock the hidden route towards the second skull. In order to do it: once the player enters the cube portal, they must perform two successive jumps with the cube, effectively collecting two blocks. The hidden route is located at 79%, at the spider part. Simply skip the red portal as soon as you've entered the blue gravity portal, in order to be led into an alternate route, then a pink jump orb will be generated at 80%, one must tap it in order for the player to be given enough room to change gravity with the spider right before they enter the cube portal. Then, jump above the triple spike to go upwards and meet an another triple spike. The player should make three consecutive timed jumps before finally reaching the skull.
