TrusTa is a popular and skilled Swedish player and level creator in Geometry Dash who rapidly gained popularity after completing several Extreme Demons such as Cataclysm, Bloodbath, ICE Carbon Diablo X, Red World Rebirth, Athanatos, Sonic Wave, Erebus, Eternal Moment and Wasureta. He also verified notable Extreme Demons such as The Flawless, NecropoliX, and especially Sakupen Hell and Yatagarasu. Many people say that he was one of the best players in the world back then due to him completing Sakupen Hell, once thought of as an impossible Demon and the fact that Surv and Riot had quit (though both have returned shortly afterwards).
His current hardest Demon is The Rupture, completed on 3 May 2022. Shortly after, he temporarily retired from the game and became a music artist rather than a Geometry Dash YouTuber. On 18 March 2025, he announced his return to the game through a completion video of the Extreme Demon Masochism by Xinpa. He beat Stalemate Redux on 26 March 2025 and achieved 81% on kowareta on 27 April 2025.
History[]
Early career[]
TrusTa's first video was a very short gameplay video of Noobas's hack verified Sakupen Hell on 8 June 2015,[2] this was before his actual verification project on Sakupen Hell later on. He made a preview of Apocalyptic along with Randomus on 17 August 2015[3] followed by completing Fear Me, a 77% run on 8o on 24 August 2015,[4] and a 26% run on Bloodbath as the notable hardest level at the time and his first progress video on the level as well on 25 October 2015.[5]
After a 58% run on Apocalyptic on 8 November 2015,[6] he'd later beat Breakthrough by Hinds on 11 January 2016 followed by two runs on Red World in 42%[7] and 51%,[8] the near-impossible level at the time. After the verification on Apocalyptic on 17 January 2016,[9] he achieved 59% on Red World on the same day,[10] followed by notable level completions of Windy Landscape, Acropolis and Forsaken Neon. TrusTa later achieved 68% on Red World on 19 February 2016[11] followed by the second progress video in Bloodbath in a 31% run combined with his first progress video on ICE Carbon Diablo X in 40% on 9 March 2016.[12] Later on 15 March 2016, he achieved 57% on ICE Carbon Diablo X,[13] followed by a 71% run on the old version of Cataclysm on 23 March 2016[14] and a notable completion of Poltergeist 9 April 2016.[15]
On 16 April 2016, TrusTa later achieved a run of 42-74% on Bloodbath,[16] followed by one of the worst fails on his channel at 82% on Cataclysm.[17] Later on, he achieved a run of 66% on the older version of The Hell Factory[18] followed by a notable completion of Spacelocked on 6 May 2016 and another one of his worst fails at 81% on the older version of The Hell Factory on 8 May 2016.[19]
Rise[]
Pre-Bloodbath completion[]
TrusTa beat Necropolis on 15 May 2016,[20] however, he completed Cataclysm four days later on 19 May 2016.[21] He describes this as his last goal along with Acropolis and Necropolis, however, he'll complete even harder Extreme Demons later on; before that, TrusTa achieved 48% on 20 May 2016[22] and 50% on Bloodbath as well as a run of 42-100% from Crack's part on the next day on 21 May 2016,[23] he then beat 8o after the 77% run hiatus on the next day on 22 May 2016[24] and UltraSonic on 25 May 2016.[25]
Later on, he beat the newer version of Cataclysm on 27 May 2016,[26] followed by completing The Ultimate Phase three days later on 30 May 2016,[27] a 30% run of Sonic Wave during its verification race period on 2 June 2016,[28] and a 72% fail on Bloodbath four days later on 6 June 2016[29] followed by one of his worst fails on his channel being a 95% fail on Red World on the same day;[30] after that, TrusTa beat a few notable Insane Demons in Crimson Clutter on 8 June 2016[31] and Night Terrors three days later on 11 June 2016,[32] as well as creating his team in OTG (Only The Greatest) on 16 June 2016.[33]
Post-Bloodbath completion[]
TrusTa crashed at 83% on Bloodbath on 17 June 2016,[34] however, he later beat Bloodbath in 13,722 attempts on 18 June 2016;[35] this was once the hardest level at the time as he was the eighth victor of Bloodbath. This victory gained him many subscribers and as much popularity as possible later on. After the infamous Bloodbath, he beat ICE Carbon Diablo X on 21 June 2016 after three months and two fails at 95% and 96% respectively, [36] followed by two runs at 13-32% and 61-100% on a copy of the old version of Yatagarasu on the next day on 22 June 2016.[37] Later, on 1 July 2016, he verified The Flawless as his first-ever verification;[38] however, on the next day, he was the first victor of Red World Rebirth on 2 July 2016 after his 'The Flawless' verification.[39]
The two runs on his copy of the old version of Yatagarasu were achieved before a more difficult version of the level that he would eventually become the verifier for arose.
Sakupen Hell verification[]
After TrusTa reached 1,000 subscribers on YouTube on the same day,[40] he beat Nine Circles on mobile after his vacation on 29 July 2016, [41] and he announced to verify Sakupen Hell after both Riot and Jakercut dropped it; this level was widely considered impossible beforehand as Noobas hack-verified the original version. However, as for TrusTa, he replaced the infamous mini-wave spam part with an upside-down mini-ship straight-fly segment at the end. On 31 July 2016, two days after his vacation, he achieved great progress on the level with a 37% run,[42] as well as a 72% run two days later on 2 August 2016.[43] Progress slowed down as he achieved 82% as his worst fail on the level on 8 August 2016[44] before verifying Sakupen Hell on 14 August 2016 with 22,000+ attempts and was rated and placed at the #1 spot immediately.[45]
During his Sakupen Hell verification, he'd also beat Deadly ClubStep [46] and verified Multiclysm on 6 August and 21 August 2016, respectively.[47] After his Sakupen Hell verification, he made a shoutout to SebQuero11 on 17 August 2016 for being the first to beat Multiclysm.[48]
Yatagarasu verification[]
On 2 September 2016, TrusTa announced to verify Yatagarasu,[49] It was known as one of the most hyped Extreme Demons at the time and as well as being the hardest level at the time; this was after Surv dropped the level due to him ragequitting deleting most of Jeyzor's part. Before his actual verification process, he made practice runs on his copy of the old version of Yatagarasu on 4 April 2016[50] and, with his two said runs beforehand, he also said that he may nerf the level to make it slightly easier.
Progress on this level was steady for him as he achieved a 28% run as his actual first progress on the level on 4 September 2016[51] followed by a 38% run on the next day on 5 September 2016[52] before reaching 10,000 subscribers on YouTube on 6 September 2016.[53] On 7 September 2016, he made a 62-100% run from Hinds' part[54] followed by a 57% run three days later on 10 September 2016[55] before his 10,000 subscribers QnA video on 22 September 2016,[56] he also became a Twitch Partner as well as having 5,000+ in-game stars on 1 October 2016.[57] However, after his 57% fail, he ended up slightly nerfing and re-balancing the level to make it more consistent; this change made his viewers unsatisfied.
Progress on Yatagarasu was slowed down as TrusTa focused on verifying Sonic Wave since 2 June 2016 by achieving two runs on the level of 43% and 42-100% on 9 October 2016.[58][59] After that, he returned to Yatagarasu and achieved a run of 21-87% from weoweoteo to FunnyGame on 11 October 2016[60] and a 63% run at the first section on Hinds' part on the next day on 12 October 2016.[61] On 19 October 2016, TrusTa reached 20,000 subscribers, did a room tour for his viewers and gave shoutouts to certain viewers.[62] He also completed Bloodbath a second time, using the alternate 'Michigun route' at that level with his first try in ~400 attempts on 23 October 2016,[63] and later on he beat Retention on 29 October 2016.[64] On 1 November 2016, he made a shoutout to Combined as being one of the best players in the 2.0 period[65] and did two progress runs on the Former Top 1 hack-verified level in Athanatos on 5 November 2016 in 32% and 54% runs.[66][67]
After his long absence on Yatagarasu's verification, he achieved a 36-100% run from COSINE's part[68] followed by a 73% run.[69] Both videos were reuploaded on 6 January 2017 because TrusTa accidentally deleted both videos beforehand. On 7 January 2017, TrusTa achieved his worst fail on the level with being 95%.[70] This was one of the worst fails in the game, along with Mefewe's 98% fail on Sonic Wave; however, after his 95% fail, he ended up nerfing the level again, especially Michigun and Funnygame's parts. He reached 30,000 subscribers with his Blast Furnace completion on 10 January 2017.[71] Finally, after 50,000+ attempts, four months, and many fails, TrusTa verified Yatagarasu on 13 January 2017.[72] With this beast of the level verified, following Surv's first victor on Yatagarasu, RobTop finally released the 2.1 update after 16 months since 2.0 (a year and four months or 509 days). It is also currently his most viewed video on his channel.
2.1 era[]
After TrusTa's Yatagarasu verification, he achieved 54% on Sonic Wave on 22 January 2017,[73] as well as beating Combo Breaker by ZenthicAlpha as his 200th Demon four days later on 26 January 2017.[74] TrusTa proceeded to beat more Extreme Demons later on as he beat A Bizarre Phantasm on 29 January 2017,[75] and after he achieved a 57-100% run on Athanatos at the same day,[76] he later beat Athanatos on the next day on 30 January 2017 after fluking from 65%.[77]
TrusTa used to be the verifier of Blade of Justice after Dual KiKi dropped because of stress and schoolwork. TrusTa was also the third verifier of the level after Quantum and DuaL Kiki. On 1 February 2017, he achieved a run of 23%,[78] he also did two runs of 64-89% and 73-100% a day later on 2 February 2017,[79] TrusTa then did a run of 49-93% on 6 February 2017[80] and the last run on the level in 40% at the same day[81] before being passed to Sunix on 15 February 2017 due to said reason on the video.[82] After Blade of Justice, he later beat The Hell Factory on 21 February 2017[83] and as well getting a 28-100% run on Sonic Wave five days later on 26 February 2017.[84]
On 9 March 2017, TrusTa reached 40,000 subscribers and beat Quest For Perfection on 13 March 2017. Three days later, on 16 March 2017, TrusTa achieved two runs of 42-50% and 80-99% on Buffbath, dubbed Riot's buffed version of Bloodbath.[85] Afterwards, on 21 March 2017, he achieved a 42% run on Erebus, the former hardest level at the time.[86] After that, TrusTa reached 50,000 subscribers on 15 April 2017,[87] followed by a progress run of 48% on Black Blizzard on 24 May 2017,[88] and on 6 June 2017, not only did he beat Black Blizzard, but he also despised the level as his least favourite level in the game.[89] TrusTa later created a video about the first ten victors of Yatagarasu on 13 June 2017.[90]
On 22 June 2017, Trusta reached 60,000 subscribers,[91] and later on, he beat Acropolis on mobile on 8 July 2017.[92] Later on, he returned to Erebus on 29 July 2017 as he made a run of 60%[93] before crashing at 89% as his worst fail on the level just a day later on 30 July 2017.[94] On 5 August 2017, he verified NecropoliX[95] as the remake of the original Necropolis after an 89% fail on the same day[96] as well as verifying Paradox Theory by CairoX on 14 August 2017.[97] The next day, on 15 August 2017, TrusTa showed a layout preview of WOW on 15 August 2017[98] followed by its full gameplay on 17 September 2017.[99] After that, he beat some notable Demon levels such as El Dorado, HyperSonic, Breakout, Galaxy Breaker, Cyber Chaos, The Furious and Luminum. Later on, he verified Fearless by ChaSe on 21 November 2017.
On 3 December 2017, TrusTa showcased the first official preview of WOW.[100] However, after WOW was fully built and ready for verification, TrusTa announced that he lost motivation and he would be taking a break from the game after WOW was verified later on.[101] TrusTa made two runs of 27% on 12 February 2019[102] and 34-82% six days later on 20 February 2019[103] before being passed onto npesta.[104] His last video of 2019 is his unfinished layouts on 22 July 2019.[105]
Return[]
On 6 January 2020, he posted a video of Galaxy Collapse as the new upcoming Top 1 level in Geometry Dash.[106] This showed the sign of TrusTa's return to the game followed by a 24% run on Silent Akbar as the old version of Tartarus on 13 January 2020.[107] TrusTa then verified Berserk on 11 March 2020[108] after he finished the layout. This level was also decorated by Zylenox because TrusTa made a video about 'TRUSTA X ZYLENOX' a day ago, on 10 March 2020.[109]
In 2020, he showcased certain parts of Galaxy Collapse and created a layout of the official sequel to WOW, dubbed POW, on 28 July 2020.[110] It was until 10 May 2021 because TrusTa announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he was slowly getting back into Geometry Dash.[111]
The GDDP[]
In June 2021, TrusTa announced the upcoming project in Geometry Dash Demon Progression, which started after his Artifice completion on 14 June 2021.[112] TrusTa later beat some notable Extreme Demons in Artifice, Twisted Tranquility, Deception Dive, Thanatophobia, Titan Complex, Anoxysm, and especially both Sonic Wave and Erebus. On 2 August 2021, TrusTa finally beat Sonic Wave after four years of inactivity on the level and 28,000+ attempts.[113] It was his new hardest since his verification on Yatagarasu. Later, on 13 August 2021, he beat Erebus and the entire classic RGB Trilogy.[114] During this, he showcased his layout level in Fallen Angels on 23 June 2021.[115]
On 26 August 2021, TrusTa later beat Eternal Moment,[116] and he also showcased a layout of REVOLT on 7 September 2021.[117] On 6 December 2021, he planned to beat The Golden as his new hardest as he spent 20,000+ attempts on the level, his runs were 39%, 26-54%, 36-84% and 59-100% on 22 December 2021.[118] As for REVOLT, it was verified by Zephal on 17 February 2022. However, the level remains unrated.[119]
Retirement[]
In 2022 and beyond, he mainly posts commentary videos, especially his showcase video on his Texture Pack on 28 February 2022.[120] On 10 March 2022, he verified Disruption by Nuno,[121] and on 27 March 2022, he beat Wasureta his new hardest again.[122] Later on, he achieved two runs on the unnerfed version of Galaxy Collapse of 45-56%[123] and 9-23%,[124] as well as a world record on Forsaken Hell with a 26% run.[125] During the runs, he beat The Rupture on 3 May 2022 as his current new hardest,[126] along with the GDDP website finished by hawkyre on 4 August 2022.[127] However, after his full layout showcase of AIAE on 21 October 2022,[128] TrusTa later quit Geometry Dash after his run on AIAE of 54-100% two days later on 23 October 2022 as his last Geometry Dash video as for now.[129]
Nowadays, TrusTa is a musical artist, and he has posted various songs since Dream, Caramelldansen and Perserverant in 2020.
On 18 March 2025, TrusTa announced his return to the game.
Conflicts[]
- Yatagarasu Nerfs: After he verified Yatagarasu, the nerfs were drastic enough to bring it down from the #1 spot on the Demonlist. With it being advertised as such, the community did not take kindly to TrusTa nerfing it. He was subsequently criticised for a few months before turning into an internet meme. As time went on, however, people began to realise how unbearable unnerfed Yatagarasu was and how much better TrusTa had made the level. Nowadays, the meme has mostly died, although TrusTa still jokes about it on stream and gets messages about it occasionally.
- Verification Service: On 18 April 2022, TrusTa announced his new Verification Service, where people could pay to have TrusTa verify their levels. However, the prices were quickly questioned, as just the verification of an Easy Demon would set the creator back $10. It split the community into two, with some members saying they supported the idea and that TrusTa should be allowed to do what he wanted. Others said this destroyed any respect they had for him. TrusTa would end up cancelling his service the following day.
- Galaxy Collapse (Surjaco): In late April of 2022, Surjaco uploaded some small percentage runs of the unnerfed version of Galaxy Collapse, which had previously been nerfed to Top 10-15 to make the level more enjoyable. However, the copy he was playing on was leaked by Vernam. TrusTa wanted Surjaco to stop playing the level. However, every time he tried to comment on something, a bug with YouTube prevented the comment from going through, which TrusTa saw as Surjaco removing his comments. He also accused Surjaco of trying to paint himself as a 'secret verifier' with the evidence that he was hearting any comments left portraying him as such. Eventually, they talked it out through Discord, and their conflict ended.
